Paul spent 28 years in the US Army and Army Reserve, retiring in September, 2012. Paul began his career as an Armor crewman, served as a Drill Sergeant and completed the Army Sergeants Major Academy in 2006. Paul spent 12 years working with the Army PaYS (Partnership for Youth Success) program as the Army Recruiting Command – Commanding General’s subject matter expert on corporate partnerships. Paul has developed military hiring programs and partnerships with hundreds fortune 500 companies like Accenture, Harley-Davidson, USAA and Union Pacific Railroad and developed the first of its kind partnership with the State of Wisconsin.
Paul is currently serving on the City of San Antonio’s Military Advisory Committee and Subcommittee on Veteran Employment. He is the VP of Business Development for the Alamo AUSA Chapter. Paul has over 19 years of experience in working with military transition and corporate America.
I'm an Active Duty Air Force spouse, currently in New Jersey with our two kids. I have a BA in Psychology for Business. I am passionate about helping people find positions that fit their background and that they enjoy.

I am so excited to be a part of the team here at Forward March Inc! My name is Laurin Ladner and I am an Active Duty Navy spouse and mother of two girls - Bayley age 11 and RosieLynn age 1. I am a graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, the University of Southern Mississippi and a graduate of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). We currently live in Virginia Beach, VA and my family and I enjoy going to the beach, visiting new parks, and visiting our families in Mississippi and Texas.
I am a secretary for my husband’s ship FRG and I am also a volunteer with a local non-profit that helps supply new parents with formula, diapers, and wipes across the DMV area.
As a military spouse and daughter of a retired veteran, I understand the importance of helping veterans and spouses find meaningful employment that allows them to provide for their families. I also understand the importance of standing beside one’s spouse as they serve our beloved country.
I believe in the mission of Forward March Inc. and I am so excited and proud to be apart of it!
Willow is a dog mom, creative, and a proud Navy wife and daughter of an Army Veteran. She is a native of Washington State but as a military spouse she has lived in Washington state, New York, Virginia, Texas and Japan. As a military spouse and child of a veteran Willow has experienced many aspects of the military life from deployments, moving and mental healthcare. Willow is passionate about helping military members, veterans and their families not only survive the military life but thrive in it!
Meet Breanna Towler, a resilient and dedicated individual shaped by the values of hard work, community, and resilience. As a military spouse, she has a passion for helping others and has volunteered at VA hospitals and served as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a veteran's home. Inspired by the strength of wounded warriors, she is committed to deeply appreciating and supporting the bravery of our servicemen and women. With a unique perspective as a military spouse, Breanna is devoted to positively impacting the lives of those who serve and have served. Crystal is a seasoned project manager with over 15 years of
experience bringing complex projects to fruition as an
analytical visionary and innovator. She is a transparent and
respected leader who employs unconventional strategies,
grounded in real-world analytics to stimulate growth and
achieve cost-saving efficiencies. Crystal is excited to work
with FMI leadership to continue to grow and improve the
performance of the FMI’s goals, boosting FMI’s success with
military hiring initiatives.
Crystal’s areas of expertise include networking, strategic
planning, business communications, leadership, employee
growth and development, process improvement and
business-technology alignment, data analytics and modeling,
operations program development and launch, as well as
government affairs.
Crystal currently lives in Hawaii with her husband, a
Machinist Mate (Nuclear) in the U.S. Navy, and two daughters.
My name is Brenda and I live in sunny southern California. I am currently serving in the Army National Guard, and I am also pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I have a daughter who is about to embark on her college journey, and we also have a furry feline companion. I love exploring new places, going on adventures in nature, staying active, and spending time by the ocean. I have a strong connection to the Native American and Veteran community. I love networking and bringing together brilliant individuals to create connections that will pave the way for future generations and foster a more fair and inclusive workforce.
Currently living in Arizona with my two young daughters and husband who is a Navy Veteran. I assisted with my husband’s transition from military to civilian life, and witnessed firsthand the challenges that he faced along the way in finding career opportunities and connecting with employers. I am passionate about the veteran community, and it is my goal to do anything I can to make the transition for veterans and their families smooth.
As a dedicated caregiver to a disabled veteran and a mother to two incredible neurodivergent children, I bring a unique blend of compassion, resilience, and advocacy to my roles. Driven by my personal experiences and a profound sense of empathy, I am deeply committed to supporting and uplifting the veteran and military spouse community. I strive to amplify the voices of those who have served and their families, advocating for greater access to resources, support systems, and opportunities for empowerment. Whether through mentorship, education, or community outreach initiatives, I am dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our country. My journey is fueled by a passion for serving others and a commitment to creating a more inclusive and supportive society for all.
Jessica Williams, born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, graduated from Lourdes High School in 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communications from Alverno College in 2009. She began her career as an Admissions Counselor at the Wisconsin Challenge Academy, where she helped at-risk youth earn their High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED). Inspired by her work with the cadets, she enlisted in the Army Reserves in 2011, serving as a Non-Commissioned Officer in Human Resources, Postal Operations, and Career Counseling. In these roles, she managed soldier readiness, morale, and retention while also serving as a Family Readiness Group Representative, Military Ball Master of Ceremonies (MC), Color Guard member, Army's Ask, Care, and Escort (ACE) Suicide Intervention Leader, Monthly Newsletter Writer, and 2015's Best Warrior Runner-Up.
Jessica’s civilian career includes roles such as National Guard Job Connection Education Program Manager, Statewide Veterans Field Representative for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, and various positions in veteran advocacy, project management, and community engagement. She coordinated employment events, edited resumes for veterans, service members, and military spouses, and developed strategies to connect veterans with employment and educational opportunities as well as employers with veterans.
Jessica’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found Shield of Sisters, a nonprofit offering restoration retreats for female veterans affected by Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Additionally, she founded Whimsical Celebrations LLC, a business dedicated to creating memorable events through party planning and personalized decorations.
Her other professional experiences include being a Counselor for USA Summer Camp in Fukuoka, Japan; an Event Coordinator & Fundraiser intern for the Children’s Hospital and Oshkosh Convention & Visitors Bureau; Job Service Outreach & Training Coordinator for the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD); Business Representative & Project Manager for Oshkosh Defense; Executive Project Manager & Community Engagement for Bug Tussel Wireless; Medical Assistant II (Covid testing) for UW-Oshkosh; and Apprenticeship Navigator for the Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards (BAS).
Jessica is passionate about travel, having visited 15 countries and all 50 states. She enjoys hosting themed parties, participating in community activities, and pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and her Master’s in Business Administration at Viterbo University. Jessica continues to support veterans through resume assistance and local events, while hosting traveling nurses in her home. She also volunteers and fundraises for causes such as Juvenile Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, and Leukemia and Lymphoma.
Hello, my name is Jasmine Avalos. I’m happy to say I assist with marketing in this company as I am also a college student in the class of 2026. I am going for a degree in Digital Media Communications with a minor in marketing. I enjoy content creation, such as photography, video production, graphic designing, and brainstorming content ideas.
Hi, my name is Arely Reyes proud veteran military spouse who is passionate about helping vets and spouses find their dream career. Witnessing the difficulties that my husband had transitioning out of the military motivated me to find a passion for those in our community. I have a deep desire to help those transitioning, in the service and the spouse of those who served to have served.
I love spending time with my husband, my two puppies and going to the beach. I am currently receiving my BA in Business Management and my cert in aPHR. I have a passionate to do continuing my learning and becoming my best self.
